Terms of Service
Welcome to Nora Studio. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Nora Discord bot, our dashboard at vaztinix.dev, and all associated software, APIs, and community tools engineered by Vaztinix and the Nora Studio Team.
By adding Nora to your Discord server, logging into the web dashboard, interacting with Nora commands (slash or prefix), or utilizing self-hosted components, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
1. Introduction & Mission
Nora is engineered from the ground up to be the #1 Privacy-First All-In-One Discord Ecosystem, protecting and empowering every community she encounters through uncompromising Zero-Access architecture, high-performance moderation, transparent verification, and next-generation companion intelligence.
2. Eligibility & Age Requirements
To use Nora and our platform services, you must:
- Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction to consent to digital data processing), in strict compliance with Discord's Terms of Service and international youth privacy standards.
- Possess the necessary server permissions (such as
Manage ServerorAdministrator) when adding, configuring, or granting bot permissions inside a Discord server. - Adhere at all times to Discord's official Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
3. Acceptable Use & Conduct
You agree to use Nora responsibly and not to engage in or facilitate any of the following prohibited behaviors:
- Attempting to probe, attack, flood, exploit, or disrupt Nora's API, database, server clusters, or the Internal Verification Network (IVN).
- Deploying Nora in servers whose primary purpose involves distributing malware, phishing links, CSAM, illegal goods, unauthorized financial scams, or organized harassment raids.
- Attempting prompt-injection attacks, jailbreaks, or model reverse-engineering aimed at forcing Nora AI into producing hateful, non-consensual sexual, or destructive content.
- Impersonating Nora Studio developers, staff, or contributors.
- Scraping member rosters, profile cards, or chat streams through automated tools or bot accounts.
4. Self-Hosting, Cloning & Licensing Rules
Nora is open-source software built for transparency and user sovereignty. When cloning or running a self-hosted instance, you must adhere strictly to these rules:
- Permitted Use: You are encouraged to self-host Nora for personal communities, development testing, and educational study. You enjoy 100% database custody on your own hardware.
- Attribution Integrity (Mandatory): You MUST NOT remove, obscure, or alter developer attributions and copyrights referencing Vaztinix (vaztinix.dev) or the Nora Studio Team in code files, command footers, dashboard banners, or bot profile descriptions.
- Non-Commercial Restriction: You may NOT charge users subscription fees, sell access, monetize, or offer paid commercial bot hosting using Nora's codebase or brand identity without explicit, written authorization from Vaztinix.
- Prohibited Impersonation: Self-hosted instances must not masquerade as the official verified Nora Bot or mislead users regarding official support, partnerships, or security verifications.
5. AI Intelligence, Quotas & Multimodal Features
Nora incorporates Google Gemini multi-pool multimodal intelligence (including vision, dynamic conversation, starboard commentary, and leveling accolades):
- Volatile In-Memory Execution: AI prompts and vision attachments are evaluated strictly in volatile RAM. Nora does not store, log, or sell prompt contents, and does not use user messages to train proprietary models.
- Fair-Use Quotas & Rate Limits: AI features operate under token budgets and per-minute server quotas to ensure system longevity and prevent quota exhaustion. Excessive automated querying may temporarily pause AI responses.
- Vision Safety: Multimodal image viewing is filtered through Google Safety Filters. Explicit, abusive, or dangerous image uploads will be rejected.
6. Automated Moderation & Adaptive Velocity Shield
Nora provides real-time community protection through heuristic raid shields, content filters, and Adaptive Slowmode:
- Dynamic Slowmode & Velocity Clamping: When rapid chat velocity or raid floods are detected, Nora may temporarily escalate channel slowmode (e.g. 3s–10s) and decay back to 0s as chat cools down.
- Administrator Discretion: Automated moderation actions (timeouts, kicks, bans, message purges) are tools executed on behalf of server staff. Community owners remain solely responsible for the configuration and enforcement of their server rules.
7. Roblox Verification & Group Rank Synchronization
Nora facilitates verified Discord-to-Roblox identity mapping:
- Zero Password / Session Custody: Nora never requests, stores, or accesses Roblox account passwords or
.ROBLOSECURITYcookies. Verification utilizes public verification codes or Roblox Open Cloud OAuth. - Public Group Telemetry: Only publicly accessible Roblox User IDs, usernames, and group rank indexes are read to assign corresponding Discord roles.
- Unlinking: Users may terminate account links at any moment via
/verify unlinkor the web portal.
8. Subscriptions, Payments & Discord Monetization
Optional premium upgrades ("Nora Studio Plus") are offered exclusively through Discord App Subscriptions:
- Direct Discord Processing: All transactions, recurring renewals, payment methods, and cancellations are handled directly by Discord. Nora Studio never receives or stores your credit card or financial data.
- Management & Refunds: You can manage or cancel subscriptions inside Discord at
User Settings → Subscriptions. Refunds are governed strictly by Discord's Refund Policy.
9. Service Availability, Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Nora and all related services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. While we maintain resilient hosting infrastructure, Nora Studio shall not be held liable for server downtime, Discord API interruptions, data loss resulting from server misconfigurations, or actions taken by server moderators.
10. Modifications to Terms
We may periodically update these Terms to reflect new features, security protocols, or legal requirements. Material updates will be highlighted in our Discord community and reflected in the "Last Updated" timestamp. Continued use of Nora constitutes agreement to revised terms.

Privacy Policy
At Nora Studio, user privacy is not an afterthought—it is the foundational engineering principle upon which our entire ecosystem is built. This Privacy Policy outlines what minimal data is required to operate, how it is safeguarded, and how you retain 100% sovereign control over your information.
1. Zero-Access RAM Architecture & Volatile Processing
Unlike standard Discord bots that log entire message streams to persistent disks, Nora processes message text, prefix triggers, collaborative counting games, and AutoMod events strictly within volatile, ephemeral RAM. Once processed, content is immediately discarded from memory. Chat messages are never dumped to relational databases or long-term files.
2. Data We Collect & Specific Retention Periods
We retain only the bare minimum structured metadata strictly necessary to provide server automation and user progression:

3. AI & Multimodal Privacy (Zero-Training Guarantee)
Nora's AI conversational engine is engineered with strict privacy boundaries:
- No Training on User Data: Neither Nora Studio nor our upstream model providers use user chat prompts, uploaded images, or server discussions to train AI foundation models.
- Ephemeral Vision Processing: Image attachments submitted for AI vision analysis are downscaled in memory using
sharp, streamed over secure TLS 1.3 to Google Gemini APIs, and immediately evicted from memory upon response completion. - Configurable Memory: Users and administrators can disable conversation memory at any time in server settings or dashboard toggles.
4. What We NEVER Collect or Store
Nora maintains an ironclad boundary regarding personal and private credentials. We NEVER collect, inspect, or store:
- Discord account passwords, payment card details, or banking information.
- Roblox passwords or private session cookies (
.ROBLOSECURITY). - Real-world legal names, physical home addresses, phone numbers, or government IDs.
- Private Direct Messages (DMs) between users.
- Server chat logs outside of closed support ticket archives.
5. Cryptographic Security & The Internal Verification Network (IVN)
Security is enforced through multiple defensive perimeters:
- Encryption in Transit: All communications between Discord gateways, user browsers, and Nora servers use modern TLS 1.3 cryptography.
- Token & Credential Encryption: Sensitive integration tokens and webhook URLs are stored using AES-256-GCM encryption with unique initialization vectors.
- Internal Verification Network (IVN): Nora enforces cryptographic verification for system commands and administrative diagnostics. No unauthorized user or third-party can probe internal memory or forge developer identity.
- Zero Developer Backdoors: Developers possess zero bypass routes to view private guild messages or access unauthorized community channels.
6. User Sovereignty & 1-Click Data Erasure
We believe in absolute self-service data sovereignty. You do not need to send emails or wait for manual ticket approvals:
- Instant Member Data Wipe: Run
/mycardorn!mycardin any Discord server, click the red "Erase Data" button, and confirm. All your XP, rank records, linked accounts, and user preferences are irreversibly destroyed immediately. - Server Data Erasure: Server owners can execute
/settings data-deleteinside their server to wipe all server configs, custom autoresponders, moderation logs, and member progression. - Roblox Disconnect: Execute
/verify unlinkor use our web verification portal to sever Roblox account linkages instantly.
7. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Nora is designed for general Discord audiences and is strictly not directed at children under 13 years of age. In compliance with COPPA and Discord policies, accounts identified as belonging to individuals under 13 will have all associated records immediately and permanently purged from system memory.
